There are many tour guide companies that range from boat excursion to view some of the amazing nesting colonies at the back of Noss, near Lerwick, to deep sea fishing and trips to Mousa or Foula. Shetland from the sea invokes a completely different image with a more rugged landscape and is highly recommended. Furthermore there are several guided walks by knowledgeable locals, or touring mini buses with narration and visits to more remote areas. For a complete list please look at Visit Shetlands excellent website where you can find a large variation of things to do and see during your visit.
